Special Assistant to GM Zack Zduriencik of the Mariners, John Boles is here in Clinton getting a look at the talent on the roster. He’s pictured above, talking with LumberKings’ outfielder Daniel Carroll.
I had the opportunity to catch the two-time Florida Marlins manager and Seattle talent evaluator on my pregame show for tonight. Amongst the topics we covered, his thoughts on Carroll and Denny Almonte, other offensive stars like Nate Tenbrink and Travis Howell, the strong starting rotation of Steven Hensley, Brett Lorin and Aaron Pribanic, and the Mariners themselves.
