Game Two in Cedar Rapids

The West Division Quarterfinals shift to Perfect Game Field in Cedar Rapids with the Kernels leading the best-of-three series, 1-0.  Despite an RBI double by Vinnie Catricala (listen:

Martinez Solo HR 9.8.10.mp3), the LumberKings fell, 3-2 last night and now officially have their backs against the wall.

It’s the simplest of baseball math all season long:  win and we play tomorrow, lose and that’s all.  With that being said, I think this is the night we make our statement.  Hopefully I’m right.
