Sunday Notes (4/10)
Kevin Rivers belted a thrilling two-out, two-run homer on the first pitch he saw in the seventh inning to put the Kings ahead 4-3, but Burlington rallied for three runs with the help of two errors in the eighth to win, 6-4 last night. Right-hander Matt Bischoff (L, 0-1) took the loss, allowing three runs — one earned — on six hits over 2.0 innings in relief. The series concludes today with Clinton looking for the split on a rare 80-degree April Sunday.
