Wednesday Notes (5/11)

 It’s a “show-and-go” day for the LumberKings here in Quad Cities, so I’m forced to keep it brief today.  Jake Schlander doubled home three runs and Tim Morris homered and doubled in a two-RBI night, but the Kings couldn’t come all the way back from a 6-1 deficit as they lost 8-7 to the River Bandits in the opener last night.  Read more about the game in the notes below.
