AEF Gets Reviewed by Ballpark Digest

Kevin Reichard of BallparkDigest.com stopped by Alliant Energy Field recently and reviewed the home of the LumberKings for the famed ballpark website.  That review is now available online here:  http://www.ballparkdigest.com/features/index.html?article_id=2355

Reichard calls the field formerly known as Riverview Stadium “one of the top five experiences in Minor League baseball”.  That’s right fans of Clinton, you’ve got a certified baseball wonderland sitting in your backyard.

So…see you Thursday when the LumberKings host the Cedar Rapids Kernels?  Good.

AEF Getting Offseason Upgrades

If you’re driving by Alliant Energy Field this month and wondering what the big hole in the ground is behind the Coors Light Picnic Pavilion, it’s a new concession stand being constructed with help from Ed’s Concrete & Masonry and Modern Plumbing.

The stand will make the pavilion a little more friendly for groups, but will also be open to the general fans when a group has not booked the pavilion.  Construction pictures are below:
